The house for rent is located at the entrance to Frankenfels, St. Pölten Land district. The market town of Frankenfels is located at about 460 m above sea level in the Pielachtal, also known as the "Dirndltal" because of its numerous Dirndl trees and the traditional processing of the fruit. The large municipality is home to a total of almost 2,000 residents, but only around 450 residents live in the town center with its church, municipal office, medical center, schools and local shops, the rest in the numerous surrounding villages and farms. The town is connected to transport via both the Mariazellerbahn and the Pielachtal federal road. The state capital of St. Pölten and the well-known pilgrimage site of Mariazell are only 40 km away (travel time around 45 minutes). The lovely area is a hiking and leisure paradise, offers extensive natural landscapes and is characterized by the active club life of its sociable residents.
House:
The property in the Hofstatt area was once the home and workplace of a carpenter family. The original buildings have been preserved, but in the 1960s the current house was built and last renovated in 1997. The two-storey building is located on a slope and offers 166 m² of living space. An additional 40 m² of usable space accommodates the boiler room, the wood store and the pantry. On the ground floor with its covered entrance there is a cozy kitchen with an additional wood stove and oven, a dining room with a corner bench, a living room with a tiled stove and a bright gazebo to the west. Also on the ground floor is the large tiled bathroom with a corner bathtub and a separate toilet. A staircase leads to the large upper floor with its 4 bedrooms and small living room with an attached veranda. The house is now only partially furnished, some of the room furnishings have been removed. The living rooms are heated by either an oil or wood central heating system using radiators. The tenant must procure and pay for the necessary fuel themselves. The tenant must also pay the electricity costs. An in-house spring supplies the house with fresh drinking water free of charge. The wood stoves in the living room and kitchen relieve the load on the central heating and provide cozy warmth.
